A note about Facebook Messenger
Facebook Messenger is a popular way for customers to communicate with businesses and it's use is increasing, so if you don't already have a Facebook Page for your business you should create one immediately. But it needs to be utilised correctly. We undertook a little experiment and messaged nearly 100 businesses via Facebook Messenger. We asked to book an appointment or to find out more about their products or services. Only 3% answered within a minute. Less than 5% answered within an hour. Over 65% still hadn’t answered after one week. So, the take away from this is that the vast majority of businesses are losing money because they are not monitoring their Facebook Page properly. But we know that it’s difficult to be looking at your Page regularly, especially if the enquiries are happening after hours. We can help.
